Ingredients for 6 persons

  • Porcini Mushrooms: gr.300
  • 2 cloves darlic
  • Nepitella herb
  • Stock
  • Fried polenta
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Clean the mushrooms with a knife and a damp cloth, slice them and cook with the garlic and nepitella in 4 tbsp. of olive oil. Cook slowly for 20 minutes adding some stock, salt and pepper. When the liquid has withdrawn sppon the mushrooms on the slices of fried polenta.
Other types of mushrooms can be used to prepare this dish: prataioli (champignon), also called «ordinali». Finely chopped capers and parsley can also be added to the cooked mushrooms.
